Spirulina is grown in water. The company on the same site tests water for a living. So the checks that would normally be a cost and a delay are, for us, a walk across the yard.
Ushara Aqua Labs is a water-testing laboratory. Ushara Biotech grows spirulina. Same family, same site, two separate businesses — and we are careful to say so.
The lab has its own clients: farms and hatcheries across the district who send in pond water and want to know what is in it. We are simply one more sample on the bench — with the advantage that the bench is thirty steps from the pond.
What that buys us is speed and honesty. Source water is checked before a pond is inoculated. A sample from every finished batch is checked before anything is dispatched. Nothing goes out on a hunch about how the crop looked.

Traceability
Every pack carries a batch code. A retained sample sits here against that code, so a question about a bag you bought in March is a question we can actually answer in June.
