Ushara BiotechSpirulina growers
/ Applications

A larval tank and a capsule want different things from the same crop.

One wants it alive and cold. The other wants it dry and stable. We grow for both, and we will tell you plainly which one your operation should be buying.

01 / Aquaculture

Aquaculture

Hatcheries, larval tanks, feed mills

West Godavari runs on hatcheries. Live spirulina is a larval feed you can grow next door instead of importing in a drum.

In the first weeks of a shrimp or fish larva's life, what goes into the tank decides the survival rate. Spirulina goes in as a whole cell — pigment, protein and all — and it goes in fresh if you are close enough to us to take it fresh.

For feed mills and grow-out farms further away, the dry line does the same job with a year of shelf life instead of a day of it. Tell us what you are running and we will tell you honestly which one you want.

TODO: photo — hatchery tank

Art dir.Overhead, a circular larval tank, water tinted faint green. Steam of aeration on the surface. Cool light — this is the tide-coloured half of the site.
Pigmentation
Carotenoids and phycocyanin carry through to colour — visible in ornamentals, graded in shrimp.
Early immunity
Whole-cell feed in the larval stage, rather than a processed powder reconstituted in the tank.
Local, so fresh is possible
Cold chain measured in hours, not weeks. That option does not exist with an imported product.
Consistency
One strain, one site, one lab. The batch you approve is the batch we keep making.

We'd suggestWet / Live Spirulina if you are within a same-day run of Bhimavaram and feeding larvae. Otherwise, dry.

02 / Nutrition

TODO: photo — powder, still life

Art dir.Still life on warm paper: a spoon of powder, a pressed tablet, a scatter of flakes. Raking window light, hard shadow. No props, no styling.

Nutrition

Supplement brands, distributors, kitchens

Two-thirds protein, and the iron and pigment that come with it. It's food, and it should be handled like food.

Dry spirulina is one of the densest foods there is by mass — roughly 60–70% protein by dry weight, with iron, B-vitamins and phycocyanin along for the ride. It has a strong taste. Anyone who tells you otherwise is selling something.

We supply the raw material: powder, flakes, tablets. What you build on it — capsules, blends, bars, a shelf line under your own name — is yours. We can tell you what is in the batch, because we test it ourselves.

Protein density
60–70% by dry weight, batch-dependent, and stated per batch rather than on a brochure.
Pigment intact
Low-temperature drying. You can see the difference before you test it.
Nothing added
No fillers, no colour, no anti-caking agent. One ingredient.
Batch-traceable
A code on the pack, a retained sample here, a test result we can send you.

We'd suggestDry Spirulina powder for formulation, flakes for texture, tablets for a finished retail product.
